Ever wonder which way you’re going?

Well now you’ll know, come join us as we explore the wonderful world of orienteering. Kathy Church from Smithgall Wildlife Education Center will teach us how to use a compass.

             All equipment will be provided and you will have the opportunity to show what you have learned when you search for treasure after class.

             This is a valuable skill for boys and girls that wish to hike and will need to know the direction they are traveling, or just for us grown-ups that want to know which ends up.

             I look forward to seeing lots of owners and family at this outdoor learning activity. It promises to be a great experience.

            Teen Team will have snack bar available for cold water and delicious snack. Please stop by and pick up a quick lunch or a cold drink.  (If you are a teenager (or mature youth) and you would like to help us with this event, please call Denise at 706-864-6444 ext. 227 or come to the pavilion at 10 am)
