Dear R-Ranch Owners,
I hope and pray that this letter finds you healthy during these trying times. As you are aware, we will be opening the ranch back up in a very precautious manner starting tomorrow May 1st. Please re-read below the phases for clarity on the process and know that these decisions were not made lightly. We are proceeding forward with consideration of our government mandates as well as with precautions in place to protect our staff and our owners. Phase 1 will enable our staff to get back to work, to adjust to changes set in place to protect their health and also to allow RV moves from the recent lottery to take place while giving people the option for access to their belongings. Access to the Ranch will be from 9am to 5pm and no gate cards will be activated. Phase 1 is a good time for a “Spring Cleaning” of your cabin or RV or to briefly check on property. (Reminder no overnight stays) We look forward to Phase 2 starting on Day 8, which is currently May 8th, where you can then spend the night. (First night adoption sites/cabins are also allowed to stay) Unless something changes with our governor’s mandates or our staff’s health, we will start these phases as planned. We will keep you posted on any change but know that the desire is to keep moving forward as safely as possible!
A few things to note:
Please note, the next BOD meeting will be broadcast online on May 16th. Please congratulate our newest members Becky Mooney, Holly Sell and Jesse Stout! We SO appreciate the hard work of our exiting members (especially in recent weeks)-Ron Cagle, Valorie Lottes and Carolyn Ponte.
Lastly, in these tough times, I want to make a personal plea that all owners and staff come together in a spirit of unity. Let us wave to each other, talk from afar and support other owners and staff health by keeping a social distance. Let us also do the same online. People need positivity right now, love, compassion and attention as we are so isolated. Please envelop a spirit of “ONE RANCH”. It does not matter if you stay in the cabins, RV’s or come for day use. We are ALL one “ranch family” and we are stronger together! Let us continue to keep those relationships strong online and in person! I look forward to seeing your smiling faces again….when you feel it is time for your family to resume camping!
Many Blessings,
Ashley Spenner
