2nd Call for Candidates!


The opportunity to serve on the R-Ranch Board of Directors is here! We have five positions to be filled at the April 26th, 2025 Owners Meeting. Here is a breakdown of the terms of each position and process:
  • Three positions will fulfill a three-year term of April 2025- April 2028.
  • One position will fulfill a two-year term April 2025-April 2027
  • One position will fulfill a one-year term April 2025-April 2026
The only requirement to run for a board position is to be an Owner in good standing(your name must be on the deed). The voting will take place online and at the April Owners Meeting. You are also able to request an absentee ballot by mail by contacting Judy Crofts at jcrofts@rranch.com or 706-864-6444 x104.

The three candidates with the highest number of votes will fulfill three-year terms. The two year position and one year position go to “4th & 5th place” respectively based on the total number of votes.

There is a sign-up sheet at the office now to run for the board.

Timeline:
  • February 1, 2025 Candidates meet at 10am to review the Nominating Committee and Board of Directors Mission Statements, Code of Ethics, expected conduct of campaign, signage info and to complete a questionnaire plus be photographed. Afterwards, a list of candidates will be presented to the BOD to be approved then to the Owners. This is a REQUIRED meeting to be on the ballot. If you opt to not attend this meeting, you can still be nominated from the floor at the Annual Meeting.
  • March 15, 2025 Meet the Candidate Evening Rally Time TBD
  • April 25, 2025 Wine and Cheese Social Time 7-9 pm
  • April 26, 2025 Election & Owners Meeting starting at 1pm
